Kim’s Story
I wasn’t fully aware of the story behind SØSOUL until after the renovation in January 2025.
For almost three years, it had been the space where I offered regression therapy and PSYCH-K® sessions, while slowly building a team of facilitators who shared their gifts—sound healing, Kundalini Activation, and other transformational practices.
But after the renovation, the front became a shop. Something I had always dreamed of, from the day I started SØSOUL.
In the months that followed, I found myself telling more and more people about my journey—and somehow, by speaking it aloud, my ears could finally hear what my heart had always known.
If you’re curious, keep reading.
When I was 18, I became a mother. With my Vietnamese roots and cultural expectations, I suddenly became an outcast. My mother moved to the States, because of this, and I was left alone, trying to find my way. That time in my life was incredibly difficult—full of fear, loneliness, and barely enough money to get by.
But there was one place that saved me: a small spiritual bookshop in Zwolle called Ana Sofia. The woman who owned it was always so kind and gentle. The books she sold—about energy, healing, and self-love—helped me more than I can ever explain. That shop gave me hope. It gave me something to hold onto.
Twelve years later, during my first energetic training, I saw a vision while under hypnosis:
A healing center, with a shop and a small café in the front, and healing rooms tucked away in the back. I didn’t know how or when, but a seed was planted.
Another twelve years passed. A friend and I began creating a business plan for something we called The Meditation Bar. It was a modern spiritual concept where people could walk in, have a nourishing drink, book a coaching or meditation session, and return to their day feeling uplifted—like a gym, but for the mind and spirit.
It was a beautiful vision, but far too big for us to realize at the time. So we let it go.
Life continued. I kept offering sessions, learning, growing, and guiding others—outside of my regular job, with no clear plan, just trust.
And then, SØSOUL found me.
The space had been my friend’s home, where I had been giving sessions for years. But about three years ago, he decided to move to Mallorca. He gave me the opportunity to continue working there—to build something of my own. It was now or never.
I didn’t know where to start. But I said yes, and began slowly, step by step.
Eventually, in December 2024, I renovated the entire building—and it wasn’t until I walked through it after the transformation, and started talking with the customers, that I suddenly realized:
This is the vision I saw years ago.
The shop in the front. The healing rooms in the back.
The warmth. The energy. The happy, lighter people.
SØSOUL became a fusion of everything I had ever longed for.
The comfort I once found at Ana Sofia.
The center I saw in that hypnosis vision.
The concept of The Meditation Bar.
All of it came together here.
Because here’s what I truly believe:
I never started the healing journey because I thought I was broken.
I did it—naturally—because deep down, I believed I deserved to feel whole.
Healing doesn’t have to be heavy or intimidating.
It’s not something you do because you’re broken.
It’s something you do because you’re worthy of joy.
And now, nothing makes me happier than seeing someone walk into SØSOUL and say,
“Wow, I didn’t expect it to feel like this.”
Whether they come in for a chat, to buy something, drink a cup of tea or cacao, or join a session—
they almost always leave just a little lighter than when they arrived.
That makes my day.
That is SØSOUL.
And my wish?
That one day, my youngest daughter and my grandchildren (maybe more to come!) will grow up seeing healing as something normal—something as natural as going to the gym.
And maybe, just maybe, they’ll tell their friends:
“My grandma was one of the first in the Netherlands who helped bring this shift.”
