These General Terms and Conditions outline what you can expect from our services. We aim for clarity, transparency, and a safe environment for all who engage with us.
1. Definitions
SØSOUL: The company registered in Amsterdam.
Client: Any individual or legal entity making use of the services or products provided by SØSOUL.
Service: All services offered by SØSOUL, including coaching, sessions, workshops, ceremonies, space rental, and the sale of products and multi-session cards.
2. Applicability
These terms apply to all agreements, registrations, and deliveries made by SØSOUL, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Agreement
An agreement is formed upon confirmation by SØSOUL or upon registration/payment by the client. Changes are only valid if confirmed in writing.
4. Coaching and Sessions
Our guidance is grounded in experience, care, and holistic approaches that support awareness, transformation, and personal growth. While we share lived and learned insights, we are not medical professionals and do not provide diagnoses.
Personal Responsibility: Our services are supportive and not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment. You remain fully responsible for your own health and decisions.
Payment and Cancellation: Sessions must be paid in advance unless otherwise agreed. For invoiced sessions, payment is due within 14 days. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session or in the case of no-shows will be fully charged.
5. Workshops, Group Sessions, and Ceremonies
These activities are hosted by experienced independent facilitators, who are responsible for content and delivery. SØSOUL mediates in the case of complaints but bears no liability for the facilitator’s actions.
Complaints Mediation: We offer a mediating role in resolving disputes.
Registration, Payment, and Cancellation: Participation is confirmed upon payment. Invoiced fees are due within 14 days. Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows are fully charged. SØSOUL reserves the right to reschedule or cancel an event in cases of force majeure or low enrollment.
Contraindications and Health: Some activities may trigger deep processes. Please inform us in advance of any relevant physical or mental conditions, such as pregnancy, psychiatric history (including psychosis), or the use of heavy medication. By participating, you agree to these terms and to disclose information truthfully.
Responsibility: You are fully responsible for your own participation, boundaries, and integration.
6. Space Rental
Reservation: Bookings are confirmed only after written confirmation.
Cancellation: Free cancellation is possible up to 7 days in advance. Later cancellations or no-shows are fully charged. SØSOUL reserves the right to cancel in cases of force majeure.
Use: The space is used at your own risk. Any damage caused by the renter or their guests will be charged to the renter. Liability insurance is strongly recommended.
Liability: SØSOUL is not liable for loss, damage, or injury during the rental period unless caused by gross negligence or intent.
7. Facilitators
Facilitators who offer services such as coaching, workshops, or sessions through SØSOUL do so independently. SØSOUL provides the platform and space but is not responsible for the content, execution, or outcome.
Each facilitator is fully responsible for the clients they work with.
Liability insurance is mandatory for all facilitators operating via SØSOUL.
In disputes between facilitators and participants, SØSOUL may mediate where possible, but ultimate liability lies with the facilitator.
Facilitators or organizations who only rent the space without being part of the SØSOUL platform are entirely responsible for their sessions and participants. SØSOUL does not mediate in disputes outside the platform context.
8. Multi-Session Cards (Strippenkaarten)
Multi-session cards are available via the Reservio platform.
They offer discounted rates for multiple sessions.
Cards must be paid in advance and are non-transferable.
Validity is 6 months from the date of purchase.
Unused sessions expire after this period and will not be refunded.
It is the client’s responsibility to book sessions within the valid timeframe.
9. Product Sales
Products are sold in-store or online. All prices include VAT unless stated otherwise.
Returns: Products may be returned within 14 days if unused, in original condition, and with proof of purchase. Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.
Damages or Errors: Notify us within 3 days of receipt in case of damage or incorrect delivery.
10. Event Ticket Sales
Tickets are sold via third-party platforms or directly through SØSOUL. Purchasing a ticket implies acceptance of these terms.
Cancellation by participant: No refunds unless otherwise stated.
Cancellation by SØSOUL: Full refund or voucher offered in consultation.
11. Medical Disclaimer
SØSOUL’s services (coaching, sessions, workshops, ceremonies) are designed for personal development and well-being. They are not substitutes for professional medical, psychological, or psychiatric care.
Always consult a doctor or specialist for physical or psychological complaints.
We do not offer diagnoses or medical advice.
Participation is at your own risk.
12. Complaints Procedure
We strive to provide a safe and positive experience. If you have a complaint, please contact us via hello@sosoul.nl.
You will receive a confirmation within 5 working days.
We aim to resolve complaints within 14 working days. If more time is needed, we will inform you accordingly.
13. Intellectual Property
All materials provided by SØSOUL remain our property unless agreed otherwise. They may not be copied, shared, or published without written permission.
14. Privacy
SØSOUL processes personal data in accordance with the GDPR. Data is used solely for service delivery and will not be shared with third parties without consent. See our privacy policy at sosoul.nl/privacy.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam
